Job summary
As a senior manager within the Clinical Care and Quality Directorate the post holder will support the Assistant Director of Clinical Governance to ensure the continued development and implementation of a comprehensive, integrated and assured approach to all aspects of qualitymanagement including; quality assurance, quality control, quality improvement and quality planning. To ensure the organisation meets the requirements of the Care Quality Commission (CQC), manage the registration/de-registration process and monitor ongoing compliance withfundamental standards.

Main duties of the job
- Provide detailed oversight of the organisation's status in relation to the CQC Fundamental Standards and Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE)
- Lead on the development, implementation and review of systems and processes through self-assessment, real time audit, QIA's, NED led deep dives and we care visit programme.
- Development of the annual Quality Account and oversee the development and implementation of the quality priorities.
- Co-ordinate external agency visits (in relation to the clinical governance and quality portfolio e.g. CQC, NHS Improvement), oversee and collate evidence as requested, assess the quality and robustness of the evidence to ensure senior approval prior to submission
