The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network East of England (CRN) is the clinical research delivery arm of the NHS. The NIHR operates nationally across England through a national co-ordinating centre and 15 local research networks in the NHS supporting research across all disease areas.CRN East of England is partnered with NHS Trusts across the East of England. This post will be based in the successful candidates employing Trust.
Main duties of the job
The aim of this role is to support the Specialty Lead for Reproductive Health (Kasia Gajewska-Knapik) and the Specialty workforce, in the delivery of reproductive health studies and ensure there is a joined up approach to delivering reproductive health studies with strong collaboration between midwives, nurses and clinicians. This will allow for quicker resolution of study challenges, sharing of good practice and improvements in studies delivering to time and target. The champion will form part of a national forum that will meet in person and connect virtually. The forum will provide peer support and where appropriate, training opportunities to this key community delivering reproductive health and childbirth studies.
