The LDC is one of the largest facilities in Europe for conducting first class clinical research in diabetes and other long terms health conditions. The PRC is one of five centres in the UK, dedicated to setting up and delivering late phase commercial clinical trials in the NHS at pace and scale. We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic candidate to assist in the delivery of a high quality research service of clinical expertise, in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines for the conduct of clinical research trials.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide the highest standards of patient care in line with research protocols and will ensure that such research safeguards the well-being of the patients and non-patients participants and is conducted within ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines for clinical trials.

To work alongside Principal Investigators and the research team to assist in the delivery of a high quality research service of clinical expertise, professional advice, support, guidance and education to the multi-professional team, patients and carers within the research service. Work will be in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines for the conduct of clinical research trials.
