We are looking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and flexible Speech and language Therapist to join our well established Community Speech and Language Therapy team based the Community Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Team (CSNRT) in Bury.
Benefits would include flexible working, training and development opportunities, working collaboratively with highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapists within the team and in neighbouring boroughs. Regular supervision and opportunities to connect with colleagues /share ideas and receive support will be incorporated into your working week. Continued Professional Development and innovation will be supported and encouraged.
Role Summary:
The successful candidate will have experience working with communication and swallowing disorders within the field of adult neurology. Post graduate Dysphagia experience /qualification is essential. You will be responsible for a mixed caseload in the stroke and neurorehabilitation community team.

Main duties of the job
- Key Responsibilities of the Post:
The service is delivered in a variety of settings including patient's homes, care homes and clinic environments. You will work with therapy assistants, Multidisciplinary Teams, Administrative teams and Students.
- To deliver specialist clinical work for patients with varying needs in a variety of settings.
- To act as a member of the multi-disciplinary team with support from senior colleagues and to contribute to the coordination of Speech & Language Therapy input in this area
- To assess and treat own caseload of patients maintaining own records as an autonomous practitioner
