Job responsibilities
The Director of Performance and Improvement is a key voting senior role on the Board of Directors. They are a corporate decision maker with responsibility for strategic and operational management of services. Specifically, the core responsibilities are to:
Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the urgent and emergency service, ensuring sufficient capacity and capability is available to deliver excellent patient care that is compliant with the commissioned service contract and national key performance indicators and within quality and financial standards.
Provide strategic and operational leadership and management of the Non-Emergency Service, ensuring sufficient capacity and capability to deliver against commercial contractual requirements that comply with excellent patient care and financial and quality standards.
Where required deputise for the Chief Executive Officer and undertake the role of Executive on call for the Trust.
