Job summary
Administration Manager - Band 5
A substantive opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to work as part of the Planned Care Division as Administration Manager within the ENT, Audiology and Oral Surgery Services. This role would suit someone who is an enthusiastic and forward thinking experienced Team Leader looking for a challenge in a post that is both interesting and varied. Do you have the ability to prioritise your workload, Manage the administration team's with efficiency and support whilst promoting a can-do attitude? If so, this is the role for you.
The role of Administration Manager will have a strong operational focus, working closely with administration, clinical and nursing leads to ensure outstanding care is delivered in line with Trust policy and standard operating procedures.
Main duties of the job
They should be resilient, organised, work well under pressure, and have excellent communication skills. They will work closely with the Deputy Service Manager and Service Support Manager to ensure the Trust's Access Policy is adhered to and that all relevant Key Performance Indicators are met. They will bring experience of office management, be customer care focused, have knowledge of handling complaints and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. They will also be responsible for the personal development planning and learning needs of staff within their own administration teams, as well as managing any human resource issues by providing direct supervision to the Patient Pathway Coordinators. Excellent leadership skills and the need to demonstrate ability to remain positive in challenging times are essential.
