Are you an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse with a keen interest in working in the acute environment. We are seeking compassionate staff to join our medical ward.
Plum Tree Ward (Hinchingbrooke)-isa 30 bedded general medical ward specialising in Gastroenterology. Plum tree is a busy ward with a wide scope of learning opportunities. There is an established medical team who work closely with the nursing team to provide holistic patient centred care. Staff members on the ward are supported by the senior team to develop new skills and expand existing skills.
Main duties of the job
To work within a clinical team alongside the Ward Manager/Deputy Sisters and the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to provide high quality care to patients in the ward.
You would develop skills to look after patients who require acute care and discharge planning including encouraging them to maintain and improve their mobility.
