Job summary
University Hospital Southampton has an exciting opportunity for a experienced, dynamic and motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to help support the UHS Cancer Research Team. This position provides the opportunity to work within a large and dynamic team to help deliver a sizable portfolio of studies.
About the team
The role will involve working closely with Investigators from within the Cancer speciality, Research Nurses, Study Sponsors and the R&D Team. A flexible, enthusiastic and professional individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills is therefore required for this role. The ideal candidate will have experierience of clinical research ideally in the NHS.

Your Responsibilities What youll do
The post holder will help to deliver a portfolio of commercial and non- commercial clinical research studies across the trust by helping with some aspects of the set-up of new studies and providing ongoing support for current studies. This ongoing support will involve organising, coordinating and taking responsibility for delegated non-clinical study specific tasks.
What were looking for
The successful applicant will ideally have previous clinical research experience, preferably within the NHS. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are essential.
