Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for an administration Manager within the Adult Forensic Services in Edenfield, Prestwich site.

The successful candidate will provide a wide-ranging administration support to the Senior Leadership Team and other members of the management team and to also undertake the supervision and line management of administration team within the Adult Forensic Service.

Excellent communication, attention to detail and interpersonal skills are essential to this very busy role. Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, ability to problem solve and experience in the line management of staff are all essential for this role.

The Administration Manager will be able to manage and provide a responsive, comprehensive, and innovative administrative and secretarial service in order to support the Forensic Mental Health Stream to run an efficient and effective service for the benefit of the service user group and their families.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will take on the responsibility of line management for staff including supervisions, iPDR, HR, Training Development and Recruitment and Retention.

You will have an opportunity to truly make a difference to patient care by supporting data quality, development and capturing improvements for patients.

To represent the Service at meetings and other Trust meetings as requested by the Administration and Operational Support Manager.

To understand and support coordination of a centralised system for Bed Management for admissions, discharges and internal transfers, processing of referrals coming into the service.
