Some of these include anything from innovative equipment, training to support staff and their wellbeing to new state-of-the-art buildings. Within these buildings we need all kinds of art to help make our hospitals feel more homely and an attractive setting for people when they visit.
For the first time ever, we are recruiting a Arts in Hospital Manager. This role will be instrumental in helping us take our hospitals into the future and will be responsible for leading, maintaining and developingthe arts programme across The RoyalBournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals. The role requires a hands-on mix of creativity, arts and curatorial experience and knowledgealongsideevidence ofmanaginglarge projects,includingarts projects/exhibitions and/or cultural events.
The successful candidate will work closely with; artists, thefundraisingteam, our partners and suppliers and both internal and external stakeholders across the trust to help enhance thehospitalsenvironmentand in turn, the experience of patients and our NHS staff.
This role requires strongprojectmanagement skills, experience offundraising and be a holistic decision maker for the priorities of the programme. This role will also appeal to somebody who enjoys planning and executing activities to completion and who takes pride in evaluating the success of their projects.

- To maintain and develop the arts programme for UHD NHS Foundation Trust.
- To liaise with staff in all areas to identify needs and opportunities for using the arts to enhance the hospitals environment and patient and staff experience and to deliver on Trust priorities and objectives
- To plan, and manage dynamic, innovative and creative projects, events and exhibitions within the Trust
- To fundraise for AiH projects working with Head of Charity and charity team
- To involve the wider community where appropriate.
