Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust (NWAFT) is a large and busy organisation, with around 7,000 staff serving 900,000 residents across Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire and the neighbouring counties. Continuously striving to provide the right care at the right time for the people we serve, we run three hospitals in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Stamford and support community clinics in Doddington, Ely and Wisbech. We are a key partner in the ICS for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and the North Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Partnership, which is intended to deliver effective and integrated support to people to stay well, be independent and to live longer.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
  • Evidence of relevant continuous professional development.


Desirable

  • Postgraduate management qualification


Experience

Essential

  • Substantial senior leadership experience at Chief Executive or Deputy Chief Executive or Senior Director level in a large, complex healthcare environment
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of national, regional and local health and social care systems
  • The development and delivery of successful organisational strategies in a context of complex stakeholder engagement
  • A record of delivering financial and performance objectives in a complex organisation.


Knowledge

Essential

  • Ability to acquire understanding of the strategic direction of the local and regional health economy
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of the regulatory requirements that the Trust must operate within.
