THIS ROLE IS FOR UPTO 12 MONTHS WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION
We are delighted to be able to advertise a new post in the Emergency Department at PCH: US Senior Clinical Fellow in the Emergency Medicine at PCH. This will be for 12 months . The Job will be a 30/70 split. 30 % of the job plan will be learning to US mentored by Consultants and Associate specialist with keen interest in Point of Care Emergency Medicine Ultrasound. We will be expecting you to attend the following 3 US courses: FICE, Level One US and Chest Ultrasound. These will be funded by the trust. Currently we are using 4 ultrasound machines a Sonosite PX, two G& E Venue Go's and a Philips Sparq. The remainder 70% will be on a senior clinical fellow rota in the Emergency Department.
Overall our department has been leading on wellbeing of doctors working in the Emergency Department. This is reflected in our current rotas and copies to potential applicants can be provided by contacting one of the consultants below.

Main duties of the job
CTMUHB would like to invite applications for the Senior Clinical fellow post Emergency Medicine, with a speciality interest in US. The post will be based in Prince Charles Hospital. We envisage the split for this post at 70% Emergency Medicine on the registrar Rota and 30% in US training and learning.
The Post: US 30%
The successful post holder will work on the senior tier rota (This is the Registrar Rota) with 30% of their time spent in US. The Job will be a 30/70 split. 30 % of the job plan will be learning to US mentored by Consultants and Associate specialist with keen interest in Point of Care Emergency Medicine Ultrasound. We will be expecting you to attend the following 3 US courses: FICE, Level One US and Chest Ultrasound. These will be funded by the trust.
