We are seeking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic Treatment Room Staff Nurse to join our busy team of nurses in treatment rooms within Blackburn with Darwen based at Barbara Castle Way and Darwen Health Centre. The successful applicant may, on occasions, be required to travel and work in other treatment rooms in other localities should service needs demand.
Applicants must be willing to work flexibly, be able to work well within a team and on their own initiative.
The post holder will work as a member of the treatment room nursing team and provide assistance to treatment room staff across Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust under the direction and supervision of the treatment room leaders. They will provide a high standard of care to patients as appropriate to treatment room and the services provided therein.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will possess a wide range of clinical skills working as a registered nurse participating in all aspects of nursing care within treatment rooms including nurse led services.
They will provide a high standard of clinical/nursing care and assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
They will undertake extended roles as appropriate to treatment room and the services provided.
They will participate in a range of clinical and service audits within treatment room.
They will comply with all policies and protocols relating to treatment room.
The post holder will assist in the delivery of the objectives set out within the Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust business plan.
