An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Band 5 Registered Nurse to join West Suffolk Professionals at the West Suffolk Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Registered Nurses are responsible for the delivery of care and the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of individual programmes of care.

To use effective verbal and written communication with all members of the multidisciplinary team within own department and the wider clinical area and to engage in effective communication with patients, relatives and visitors. They are responsible for delivering high standards of patient care based on evidence based practice and have a professional duty to update and develop their professional practice.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths NMC registration Qualification in nursing
  • Ability to provide quality care Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of working within a nursing team
  • Experience of dealing with patients


Desirable

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing. Ability to work under pressure Good organisational and time management skills. Team player, able to problem solve and meet team objectives. Confident to work under own initiative Good IT skills Understands the importance of patient confidentiality and Data Protection. Accurate with attention to detail. Supports patient and staff equality and diversity. Ability to provide patients with an environment which supports privacy and dignity.
