We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic registered nurses to join Ward 15, our elective orthopaedic ward, in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The successful candidate will be required to have an interest in the management and care of surgical patients with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ward 15 is currently a 24 bedded elective orthopaedic ward covering all aspects of upper and lower limb Surgery, as well as providing ongoing care to trauma patients. With the centralisation of Orthopaedic services there is an ongoing plan to increase service and experience giving an exciting opportunity to work within this setting.

Main duties of the job

Candidates must have an interest within Trauma and Orthopaedic Nursing, be able to work as part of a team, be good communicators, and ensure the highest standard of patient care, which reflects the quality standards and mission of the Health Board. As a registered nurse, Cwm Taf will support your professional development in order for you to develop high levels of competency and to progress your nursing career.
