Main duties of the job

  • Responsible for the creation & submission of all national funded submissions for MPFT Digital.
  • Responsible for creation & submission of all local & national award submissions for MPFT Digital.
  • Oversee & provide updates for long term project closure benefits which have transitioned into BAU across MPFT Digital.
  • To manage customer service excellence. Ensuring service signposting and transfers and timely escalation triage and responses are being undertaken. Ensure all customer requests are responded to in a timely fashion, customers are kept up to date with progress and problems and requests are monitored through to completion.
  • Ensuring MPFT Digital projects are successfully transitioned into business as usual from the internal projects team and third-party suppliers with assurance of suitable supplier support, training, and communications in place.
  • To manage the development of new supplier agreements, for example, contracts, compliance, monthly service review meetings, performance and adoption/utilisation reports and meeting minutes.
  • Oversee alignment of MPFT Digital to other key strategic areas at national, local or Trust level.
  • The post holder will be responsible for supporting the expansion and development of essential Digital Health innovation that improve patient care, by driving forward our exciting and aspirational approach to bid and tender development

Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Head of MPFT Digital Service Development and Operations where appropriate for tasks, annual leave cover and Trust meetings.
  • Provide cover for responsibilities of MPFT Senior Digital Service Development Supplier Success Manager and Operations Manager when required.
  • Oversee, arrange, and attend supplier review meetings, focussing on obtaining data, action tracking and sharing back required reports, roadmaps, benefits realisation, adoption statistics, contract renewal status with the team as well as other MPFT colleagues, such as, Procurement, senior users, and system stakeholders.
  • Contribute & ensure the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) is updated with required documentation.
  • Update reports for meetings, such as the MPFT Board of Directors and Directors Delivery Forum (DDF) with engagement and engagement related work force data, this includes good news stories, bid updates, award submission progress, and long-term project closure benefits.
  • Support successful transition of projects into business as usual (BAU) for training, communications, wiki documentation and ongoing support.
  • Manage customer service excellence, signposting, triaging, internal escalations and the first point of contact of MPFT Digital.
  • To oversee benefit realisation across digital services and to report on progress through various channels to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversees and identifies cost appropriate training opportunities throughout MPFT Digital services & notifies senior management of compliance gaps for all digital services
  • Lead on ensuring MPFT Digital maintain an active online presence, including social media, and provide appropriate updates to stakeholders around Digital.

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • Post Graduate Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience
    • Evidence of continuous professional development and acquisition of new skills and knowledge
    • Prince 2 Foundation & Practitioner


    Desirable

    • ITIL V3 / V4 Expert


    Experience

    Essential

    • Experience of working with external suppliers
    • Experience of taking ownership of areas of work and engaging with other team members to ensure work is completed on time
    • Experience of leading, preparing and delivering tenders
    • Experience of effectively line managing other staff
    • Experience of authoring public sector 5 case model business cases including Strategic Outline Case, Outline Business Case and Full Business Case
    • In-depth knowledge of service/contract management tools and systems.


    Desirable

    • Previous experience & knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation within the public sector
    • Experience understanding and reviewing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) reports
    • Experience of managing project or change control environments
    • Experience of budget management of both capital and revenue budgets


    Skills

    Essential

    • Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand and analyse commercial implications of bids, contracts, and other documents
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and of others efficiently
    • Ability to develop and deliver formal, complex presentations to large groups regularly
    • Experience of developing a social media strategy to improve awareness with stakeholders


    Desirable

    • Knowledge of risk and risk mitigating procedures
    • Good understanding of ICT security issues relevant to health and social care
    • Excellent Excel skills to profile and identify trends within complex data.
