We have a vacancy for a full time Senior Clinical Fellow (SpR Level) in Urology. This post is based at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, Southeast Wales

The anticipated start date is 06th September2023 for an initial period of 6 months with potential for extension

Main duties of the job

The Department of Urology at the Royal Gwent Hospital is staffed by 10 Consultants, 4 Specialist Registrars, 3 Clinical Fellows, 1 ST and 3 FP2 doctors.

Previous experience in Urology is essential to provide care for urology admissions, inpatient urological patients and assessment of patients before and after urological surgery.

To provide outpatient assessment and investigation under the supervision of consultants.

To provide on call cover at the Royal Gwent Hospital.

Although this post will not have recognised educational approval and the cost of training courses will not be funded, the post will have the same supervision, study leave and annual leave as that as a recognised training post.
