Job summary

Due to increased work supporting the Trust's direction of implementing a full Electronic Patient Record (EPR) we have an exciting opportunity to join the Contracting and CDS team at NUH as a senior analyst supporting the provision of Commissioning Data Sets (CDS) and activity information for commissioning. The team are involved in a wide number of projects across the Trust as well as system upgrades and testing. The team have hybrid working between remote home-working and occasional site visits at the City Campus / Queens Medical Centre as the main sites. The Trust uses the Careflow Patient Administration System and NerveCentre amongst other systems. In particular the team use both the front end of Careflow as well as the Business Intelligence system and also exploring wider use of NerveCentre data. Reporting uses traditional Excel based reports as well as some SSRS and QlikSense reporting.

The main duties of the job will support with the maintenance of the contracts setup and production of both the CDS and data for SLAM (service level agreement monitoring) system. This may include maintaining reference data and working closely with Digital Services and Finance colleagues to investigate and answer queries.

The work will also include helping support the move to the new EPR. The role will also include the production of high quality reports using appropriate tools and involvement in some of the many projects around the Trust. The role will require specialist knowledge in the Contracting and CDS domain and may include logging and raising calls with systems suppliers over systems issues. During the upgrades there will be testing cycles involving contracting and CDS issues.
