The Department of Urology at University College Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated clinical fellow to work in uro-oncology - specifically to work within the robotic surgery team.

Main duties of the job

The appointee will be joining the London Cancer Pelvic Centre within the largest urological department in the country, and will join a fantastic MDT team, consisting of 12 consultants, 8 other junior doctors and a dedicated team of clinical nurse specialists. The fellow would participate in weekly clinics and operating lists, in addition to having the opportunity to contribute to the department's cutting edge research.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential

  • Full GMC registration


Experience

Essential

  • Completion of core surgical training
  • Substantive experience as a Specialist Registrar in Urology.


Skills and Abilities

Essential

  • Management of urological emergencies.


Communication

Essential

  • Excellent written and spoken English


Personal and People Development

Essential

  • Participates in teaching and instruction to Junior staff
