An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated individual to support the digital services across the Leicester Diabetes Centre.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide technical management, as well as governance procedures and reporting across the wide-ranging LDC digital projects and research studies. The successful candidate will provide excellent technical/digital project management skills, and possess a high level of adaptability, attention to detail and analytical abilities. Excellent organisational and communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to use your own initiative, whilst also working as part of a team.

Person Specification

Training and Qualifications


  • Degree / or equivalent professional qualification
  • Technology-related qualification or equivalent experience.



  • 2 years' experience of working in similar role
  • Working in a large complex multi professional organisation
  • Working with electronic patient records systems


  • University Research experience

Communication and relationship skills


  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Experience of working within a supervisory / management role



  • Demonstrate high-level computer literacy
