Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Operations Manager within Child Health,based at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, to lead, motivate and manage the various projects within Child Health and to ensure our service runs smoothly on a day to day basis.
You will work with clinical and operational leads to provide high quality information which allows greater understanding of patient flows within the specialties and allows capacity to be managed more proactively in the services.
It is expected that the post holders will work collaboratively across sites and Divisions to support the effective use of the Trust's capacity and ensure optimum patient flows through the hospitals.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person with a high standard of organisational skills to coordinate and manage the Child Health Team by ensuring a proactive, comprehensive, streamlined administrative process which revolves around the patient and their individual needs. The post holder will need to have good computer and communication skills, as well as being a team player, have an ability to use their own initiative and work well under pressure.
Applicants must also have excellent customer service skills and be used to working in a busy and pressurised environment with tight deadlines and targets to complete, as well as an understanding of the 18 week RTT pathway as this roles requires extensive PTL work.
