Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 x Senior Project Manager within the Health Boards Informatics Division - Projects & Programmes, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).

As a member of the dynamic and innovative Informatics Department, you will be a member of the Programme & Projects team. The projects you will work on form part of the ICT, Pathology and Digital Ward Programmes and will allow you to build on your current skills and experience and provide you with opportunities for personal and professional development. Main duties of the job
The Informatics/ICT Senior Project Manager will work as a member of the Informatics Programmes Team to support the realisation of the Health Board's Informatics Integrated Medium Term Plan (IMTP). The Senior Project Manager will provide overall management and ensure the successful delivery of various informatics projects across clinical sites, through the defined stages of PRINCE 2 methodology. This includes the full delivery of the project including planning, executing, implementing, monitoring, and closing, to the required standard of quality and within the specified time and cost.
You will be responsible for leading and managing project teams, providing task management, mentoring and support training requirements as appropriate. You will identify and manage risks associated with projects, using relevant project documentation and developed approaches/strategies.The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for producing a result that is capable of achieving the benefits and performance improvements as defined in the project business case.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
