Job summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a new team manager to join our growing team within the Forensic Intensive Recovery Support Team based within St Andrew's Healthcare, Birmingham.
The FIRST team is a diverse workforce consisting of professionals, and recovery services to support people transitioning from secure care medium and low secure care services in BSMHFT and St Andrew's Birmingham to meaningful recovery focussed community living.
We are therefore looking for a highly motivated and qualified mental health practitioner with managerial experience who has a passion for developing and leading mental health services. Experience in a leadership role is desirable however more essential is having the skills and values required to motivate and proactively support a busy team.
The post is open to a variety of disciplines so if you want to work as part of our specialised multi-professional service and join our dynamic team, we want to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work within the FIRST St Andrews team providing clinical and managerial leadership and clinical expertise. They will be expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of effective clinical pathways for service users with the secure care pathway
The post holder will carry a clinical caseload and undertake the duties and responsibilities of a CPA co-ordinator or social supervisor if a social worker and maintain an active caseload in line with CPA principles.
