We are looking to recruit a dynamic Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist/ Clinical Psychologist/Family and Systemic Psychotherapist/Social Worker/Nurse in the North Camden CAMHS Team in a Specialist Clinician role.
Trainees qualifying this summer are invited to apply. You will be based in the North Camden Community CAMHS Team at The Tavistock, to promote the emotional wellbeing of children, young people and their families providing both generic work and discipline specific assessment and treatment.
We are part of a large and vibrant Community CAMHS Service Line at the Tavistock Centre. You will join a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Clinical Psychologists, Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, Child & Adolescent Psychotherapists, Social Worker, Psychiatrists and many trainees. We are proud to offer a dynamic, innovative and needs-led service with strong community links. We have a varied caseload of clients ranging from those who require preventative intervention to those presenting with a high level of risk and complexity. We work closely with multi-agency networks and offer CAMHS input and outreach in schools.
You will maintain a high standard of clinical records, producing and maintaining good communications with referrers and other professionals involved, liaising with the referrers where appropriate, including liaison with local services and participating in outreach meetings.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be clinically supervised by a senior member of their discipline and have a caseload of both generic and discipline specific work. Potential candidates are welcome to contact the Team Manager in the first instance and request further conversations with the Child Psychotherapy/Psychology or Family Therapy Discipline Lead for more information.
The post holder will hold a caseload of highly complex service users.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of evidenced based care to a group of service users, conscious of their changing healthcare needs and varying levels of complexity, working collaboratively, with other clinicians and stakeholders.
You will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team delivering a range of outcome focussed, evidence based, and complex interventions and responsible for theformulation and delivery of specialised programmes of care.
The post holder will contribute to the quality, safety and continuous improvement of services provided to service users and their families.
The post holder will foster a culture of networking in an open and transparent way with internal and external partners.
You will act as a positive role model and participate in the education, development and mentorship of other staff.
You will ensure that all organisational systems and processes are adhered to.
