Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work within the multidisciplinary team delivering pulmonary rehabilitation in the Central area of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. This post holder will be based in Llandudno General Hospital but classes may be held in other locations in the Central area.

This is a permanent post 22.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate must have experience of working with respiratory patients with multiple co-morbidities and, ideally, have experience of delivering pulmonary rehabilitation programmes. The post holder will develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme and undertake clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.

This post offers an opportunity to develop both clinical and managerial skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for some of the day to day management within the department and in addition may contribute to the wider Occupational Therapy service i.e. audits, service developments, attending meetings.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
