Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust (NHFT) delivers services to a diverse population in a variety of settings including community hospitals (Corby, Wellingborough and Daventry), local health centres and clinics, nursing homes, schools, prisons and in patient's homes across all of Northamptonshire, and for some Sexual Health Services.

Main duties of the job

We need you to take charge of the assessment of patient care needs and develop, implement and evaluate treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role will also see you act as lead for support staff on a daily basis. Alongside excellent opportunities for progression within our large Trust, the role offers excellent training and development.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Appropriately registered with the NMC as per post requirements


Desirable

  • previous NHS experience


Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice
  • Demonstrates genuine interest in and commitment to care
  • Recent experience working within acute medical or community settings


Desirable

  • Substantial experiences as a registered Nurse
  • Experience of working in multi-agency services.
