Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) would love to hear from you, as we are seeking Bank Level 8a Psychologists with well-developed assessment skills and holistic client centred practice to join our friendly and forward thinking community team.
Are you an innovative Clinical Psychologist excited about a new way of working with the NHS? Or experienced in Neurodevelopmental Conditions looking for a new challenge in assessing autism?
Main duties of the job
The roles are in Childrens and Families Division via Temporary Staffing
Come and join us to work within a developing and forward thinking Neurodevelopmental Team across Birmingham, working alongside education and local authority partners.
This is a great opportunity for committed, experienced and dynamic Clinical Psychologists to join our friendly, forward thinking childrens community Neurodevelopmental Team.
We deliver clinical excellence through the application of gold standard assessments that adhere to NICE clinical guidelines and recommended best practice. Ideally you would have CARS 2, ADOS or ADIr training or would be willing to undertake this.
It is a a friendly and supportive working environment with a strong emphasis on CPD through access to specialist clinical support, sharing good practice and effective team working
You will work as an integral part of the existing Neurodevelopmental team of nurses, SLTs, OT, clinical assistants and psychologists. Delivering assessments and contributing to diagnoses as part of the multidisciplinary team. You would be expected to liaise with the wider system across health education and social care to offer the best possible support to families of children with suspected ASD.
