Main duties of the job

What we're looking for

We're looking for full time Band 5 Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate and deliver clinical research studies at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).

If you are committed to providing high quality care to patients and helping them to make the right decisions about their treatment options, with the skills to guide and advise them throughout their research journey, this role could be for you.

You'll be joining an award-winning and diverse team of experts at MFT who are making a difference to the future of care in the NHS by asking questions and finding out the answers.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can contribute to the development of research within the Cardiovascular Research team. This team facilitates and supports research delivery within MFT.

A car driver is essential due to potential cross site working.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse- currently registered with the NMC
  • Degree in healthcare subject or working towards


Desirable

  • Good Clinical Practice certificate.
  • Mentorship training

  • Proven experience of working in a clinical environment
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines
  • Proven experience of dealing with a busy workload
  • Experience of explaining complex concepts to patients in a clear and simplified manner
  • Evidence of CPD

  • Understanding of Clinical Research
