Main duties of the job

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our team.We can offer you a warm welcome to our major acute rehabilitation and trauma unit (ARTU). The successful applicant will have good communication skills and should have at least2 yearsexperience of working in an acute hospital setting ideally within a trauma and orthopaedics setting. We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience.ARTU needs you. Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse on NMC Register
  • Recognised qualification in teaching and assessing study


Desirable

  • Mentorship or equivalent


Experience

Essential

  • minimum 2 years post registration experience
  • Has experience in an acute hospital setting


Desirable

  • Trauma & Orthopaedic experience
  • Experience caring for level one patients
