Job summary
The Adult and Specialist Directorate are looking for a full time dynamic, highly performing Service Manager for our Primary Care Mental Health Service, Dual Diagnosis teams, and HAY digital and engagement team.
We are looking for someone who has experience of management, is proficient in collating and analysing data, and who demonstrates excellent leadership skills, including a track record of delivering high quality, evidence-based services for Service Users and their families.
The successful post holder will have a coaching style, encouraging staff to make decisions and be innovative in their practice. You will need to have a focus upon the wellbeing of staff within your line of responsibility as well as ensuring the teams are meeting their Key Performance Indicators.
You will need to be able to develop the arguments for change and articulate these to others with an openness and honesty that breeds trust and shows that you are an exemplar of the Trust's values.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the service management and delivery of excellent, high quality, patient focused, and effective clinical services within your area of responsibility ensuring service targets and objectives are delivered as set out in the business plan. Evidence of budget management and able to deliver financial balance and value for money.
Ensure that all aspects of service delivery, service development and quality improvement are focused on patient and carer experience, patient safety and clinical effectiveness. Establish excellent relationships with clinical staff, leaders and external stakeholders successfully developing high quality clinical services in response to evidence-based practice and commissioner requirements.
Ensure that all care pathway services within the area of responsibility meet their quality objectives and comply with the governance requirements of CQC, NHS Improvement, and the Mental Health Act.
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines.
