Job summary

Staff Nurse - Respiratory / ICU rotational post

An exciting opportunity has been created for newly qualified nurses joining our organisation.

We would like to offer a year placement on our busy & innovative Respiratory unit where we care for patients with Type 1 & Type 2 respiratory failure.

Once you have developed expertise in this area we would then like to offer you the opportunity to build upon that knowledge & skill by joining the Intensive Care unit as a band 5.

We would like to ensure that you are developed to your full potential & offer opportunities to support this development in both the Respiratory unit & In ICU.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder is responsible for developing, implementing and reviewing planned nursing care, and for the maintenance of associated records for patients in the given clinical area.

He/she works as an effective team member, assisting in the management and the organisation of work as required.

The post-holder displays effective communication skills and works as a role model for good practice, supporting and developing others asrequired.

Job responsibilities
