Job summary
We are searching for our new Associate Director of Programme Delivery to join our senior informatics team to produce and deliver the 3-year digital plan. You will be responsible for producing the overall 3-year programme plan which will turn the strategy into a work programme and enable you and your management team to identify the funding and resources required for delivery. You will need to Lead the PMO working closely with the CIO and all key stakeholders, also working with our customers you will align programmes to the annual delivery plan our Trust's priority programmes. You will also lead and support diversity of talent, ensuring everyone can thrive and belong at UHS.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WHAT YOULL DO
- Working collaboratively, you will deliver integrated and aligned programmes of work that deliver on our trust priorities
- Lead on digital transformation and develop a robust approach for the implementation of projects and programmes to a wide range of internal and external end users
- Lead on risk management, ensuring programme and projects are managed and assured within UHS digital
- Manage the successful delivery of programme objectives against the Trusts strategy. Ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within the agreed financial constraints and delivering identifiable improvements and efficiencies.
- You will have a proven track record of leading complex multi-million pound portfolios, including large scale contracts, technical business cases and leading digital services
- You will bring knowledge of programme and project management within a technical setting and experience of managing large scale highly complex programmes
- With excellent inter-personal, team development, leadership and communications skills, you will be committed to building positive working partnerships with senior managers, staff and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- You will be able to demonstrate and live our UHS Values and share our vision and direction for the division and the trust in a spirit of collaboration, inclusivity and compassion.

- Degree in computer related/numerate subject or significant equivalent experience with highly specialist technical knowledge in relevant field
- Educated to Master's degree or significant equivalent experience with highly specialist technical knowledge in relevant field
- Evidence of further leadership and management training or equivalent
- PRINCE II or equivalent e.g. APM NHS systems, data and commissioning processes Programme management qualification (MSP) or demonstrable experience
- Portfolio management qualification or demonstrable experience
- Complex multi-million-pound budget/programme project management delivery
- Previous experience of authoring complex technical business cases for > �3m value including detailed option appraisals
- Significant proven and demonstrated experience as senior manager, head of service, programme lead or architect in IT / digital services
