Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated person who would like to join our exciting team as a Band 5 Efficiency Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their skills further and gain experience in managing procedure lists, improving efficiency and leading on exciting initiative for a fast growing service. The post holder will report to the Business Manager, and will lead of ensuring lists are fully utilised, lead on the 6-4-2 policy, develop presentations and data packs whilst providing Endoscopy updates to senior stake holders and liasing with the wider team e team.

The post holder will be expected to organise and prioritise own workload and to assist colleagues to ensure the continuity of service at all times.

The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. This is an exciting and varied role that will provide a great learning experience for someone who wishes to further develop their operational skills.We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wishes to progress their career within the Health care sector; the Trust provides various excellent training programmes to support career progression as well as mentorship opportunities from different staff groups to support your learning and development needs.

Main duties of the job

  • Supporting the improvement of Endoscopy DM01 performance through ensuring lists are fully utilised; as well as resources and mitigations are in place
  • Lead of reporting on performance and service updates
  • Establishing, maintaining and monitoring administration and systems relating to service delivery.
  • Ensuring quality and customer care standards are met consistently.
