Opportunity to work in the Exeter Community Older Adults Team (OPMH) as a senior mental health practitioner.This is anexciting opportunity for someone who has an interest in older peoples mental health and wants to expand their knowledge and skills.
Based at Knightshayes in Exeter, you will become part of the multi-disciplinary team providing recovery-focused assessment and treatment to people with dementia and/or functional diagnosis.
You will be supported to develop and gain experience and we welcome those with a nursing, occupational therapy or social work background.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver high quality comprehensive mental health services. The role involves managing a defined caseload with a focus on providing expert assessment and treatment for people with complex mental health difficulties and their carers. This will include recovery coordination (design and co-ordination of treatment packages that are personalised and evaluated in line with payment by results). The liaison with a wide range of statutory and non-statutory agencies is central to this role. The post holder will contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, providing supervision for other members and participating in team and service development, and evaluation.

- A professional mental health qualification and registration e.g. RMN, Social Work Degree or equivalent, BSc/Diploma in
- OT, SROT

- Chartered Clinical Psychologist, ENB 811/812 or Community Nursing Degree
