Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and compassionate qualified nurse to join the established nursing team within the Women's Centre at Crawley Hospital as a Staff Nurse (Band 5); to care for patients referred for colposcopy and outpatient hysteroscopy.

This is an important role within a small motivated team, contributing to the effectiveness of the unit as a whole. The role involves preparing the clinic environment, supporting the patient at all stages of their outpatient procedure and assisting the colposcopist/hysteroscopist.

This is a part time post of 19 hrs per week.

Suitable applicants will possess excellent communication skills as there is liaison with patients, medical staff and other departments. Evidence of personal development, supervisory skills and computer literacy is required. An approachable and flexible attitude is desirable, as is the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently at times.

The Women's Centre is a friendly dedicated team who were proud to achieve SASH Frontline Team of the Year in 2018 due to positive patient feedback.
