Job description

Job responsibilities

Applications from newly qualified & experienced nurses welcomed. Annualised hours and flexible working hours are available and encouraged with this post.

You will be required to be forward thinking and ambitious in your approach to care, and be proactive to improve the hospital experience for patients and their families.

In our last CQC report the trust scored overall a result of good, with services for Children and Young People scoring good in all domains. We are proud of this result and believe this is due to not only the high standard of care we provide for all our patients, but due to the close and supportive bond we have developed as a team. We are also the first CHKS accredited paediatric service in the UK.

I came to CHFT 3 years post qualifying, wanting something different and challenging. The paediatric wards within this trust have given me that. Every day is different, but what doesnt change is the support you get from your team around you. They encourage you to be better and are always there to fully support you in every aspect of your career. The team as a whole is strong, something I think reflects in the patient care we give Band 5 staff member.
