An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Dental Nurse with a recognised Radiography qualification to join the team in the X-ray department at the University Dental Hospital, Cardiff.
We are a small team working Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5 with no weekends, bank holidays or on-call.
This position is currently 2.5 days per week.
The successful candidate, after specialist in house training, will be involved in all aspects of Dental imaging, undertaking a wide range of intra oral and extra oral examinations.
You will also be part of the team that delivers radiography training to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Dental Hospital.
Main duties of the job
To provide high quality images in accordance with Radiation Regulations and departmental protocols and procedures.
To provide comprehensive and effective day to day services within the University Dental Hospital.
To ensure that the daily workload is completed in an efficient manner and that all patients are well cared for.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
