SCBU is part of North West Anglia Foundation Trust and part of the East of England Neonatal Network. We are designated a Special Care Unit with a 10 cot capacity (IC stabilization cot, 2 HD cots and 8 Special Care Cots).

Main duties of the job
We are looking for passionate Band 5 nurses who are either Registered adult nurses or Registered children's nurses to work on SCBU.

We have a good in house training program and we are dedicated to continually developing the knowledge and skills of our nurses. You will have the opportunity to work and learn in a child focused environment. We are looking for Band 5 nurses with or without Neonatal experience and we can provide support for both with a Neonatal induction Programme.

- Registered Nurse (Adult or Child Branch)
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development and its application.
Desirable
- ENB 997/ 998 or Mentorship module or equivalent
- Qualified in Speciality (neonates), ENB 405 or equivalent
- Ability to mentor/coach students
- Evidence of Neonatal Advanced Resuscitation training (NLS)
Experience

- Nursing skills and knowledge which can be transferred to provide a high standard of care in SCBU clinical area.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of neonatal nursing
