Job summary

A full time Band five community nurse position.

Providing a variety of clinical support in patients homes.

Seeing patients in the on site clinic room for IV infusion/catheters/wounds.

To work autonomously following Health Board policy and protocol and Health and safety standards.

Working as part of a close team with high standards and excellent clinical skills.

High standard of work ethic and care giving in a productive and busy clinical environment. ABUHB promotes respect and dignity, compassion, improving lives and commitment to quality of care.

Main duties of the job

A full time Band 5 post has become available within Caldicot District Nursing Team for a staff nurse who wishes to work within the Community Nursing Team.

Applications are invited from motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to providing high standards of nursing care to people within their own homes and the local community.

An induction programme will be devised to ensure you are equipped with all the necessary skills and confidence to work autonomously and/or part of a forward thinking dynamic team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
