Healthcare Assistant (HCA) Band 2 Whipps Cross University Hospital Barts Health NHS Trust
Barts Health NHS Trust are looking for an enthusiastic HCA to join the committed team within their dynamic and renowned Whipps Cross University Hospital.

Main duties of the job
As a HCA, you will be of great assistance to our nursing and midwifery teams as they care for our patients. Each day will be unique as you collaborate with the rest of the team to complete a variety of jobs and lend a hand with care to meet the needs of the patients and their families.

Wash and dress patients
Monitor and record clinical observations
Support patients to eat and drink
Help patients move around
Make beds and maintain a clean, safe clinical area
Talk to patients and their families
Manage stock levels for linen and other supplies
The role involves shift work (early shifts, late shifts, long days, nights and weekends) so the ability to work these shifts is essential. However, as an organisation we support flexible working and have both full and part time roles available.

- At least 6 months NHS experience as a HCA in that last 3 years
