Job summary
This is fantastic new opportunity funded by Salisbury Hospice Charity to join our team as our new Education Lead.
We are looking for a passionate, skilled and knowledgeable Senior Nurse or healthcare professional to develop, deliver and continually improve the education, teaching and training provide by Salisbury Hospice internally and externally.
The successful candidate will bring a breadth of clinical experience in palliative care to support the teams to professionally develop ensuring a workforce able to provide a high quality and safe service for our population, patients and their families.
This post will be supported by the Matron and Team Leads within the Hospice Service.
Candidates must be a registered nurse (adult) with a current NMC registration or an equivalent registered healthcare professional and have experience in palliative care ideally in hospice inpatient as well as the specialist palliative care settings, experience would be preferred in either or both the hospital and the community settings, this would be an advantage.
Should have experience in managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
As this post is fully funded by Salisbury Hospice Charity, you will be required to work closely with them and their fundraising team to secure this future of this post and expansion of the education service.
Although funded by the charity, your employment will be with the NHS and therefore attracts all of the benefits associated with an NHS Agenda for Change Contract
