Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Occupational Therapist in BHR Falls Service.
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 6 Occupational Therapist with an interest in Falls for this exciting opportunity to work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the BHR Falls team.
The service is a forward-thinking and innovative service that is community based and works in a fully integrated way, with geriatricians , occupational therapists, nurses and community matrons all working side by side to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to the care of people accessing our service.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside and attend training with nursing and therapy colleagues within a large multi disciplinary team, offering valued, challenging and rewarding role within the team.
You will be expected to carry out clinical visits to patients in their own homes and care homes delivering physiotherapy interventions to the population.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant must be flexible, a good team worker, used to working under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients, carers and other members of the MDT.
You will be supported with continuing professional development .
