Are you a Nurse/AHP in need of a change and want to develop your skills? A NEW & EXCITING DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY - 12 Month secondment. You will be enrolled on a Teaching & Training Skills Course which will focus on helping you to develop teaching and training skills.
This post is designed to support the continuing development of excellence in nursing practice across the range clinical services at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals and requires working cross-sites (Worcester, Redditch & Kidderminster)
The post-holder will provide specialist clinical advice and promote key practice developments and implementation of quality initiatives. The post-holder will co-ordinate and deliver nurse, registered professionals and HCA education packages, training materials and provide advice, mentoring, supervision to support the delivery of high-quality care.
Main duties of the job
The Professional Development Team is part of the Corporate Nursing Directorate and provides support, advice, training and education across a range of work streams. The Professional Development team is responsible for promoting high standards of patient centred care through demonstration of clinical expertise with reference to The 6 Cs and 4ward behaviours. They support Sisters/Charge Nurses, Matrons and clinical staff in creating safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead clinical environments that encourage learning and professional growth through practice development, through delivering educational programmes and working alongside staff in clinical settings.

- Be a role model for clinical staff in providing a high standard of holistic and individualised patient care to patients by:
- Working alongside clinical staff demonstrating and applying an in-depthknowledge of a range of clinical skills.
- Acting as a reflective practitioner, applying evidence-basedpractice and critical thinking to review all practices and processes of care with clinical leads.
