The SW Peninsula Hepatitis C operational delivery network. which works alongside the Hepatology service line at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is looking to appoint a Project Manager on a 12 month secondment/fixed term contract.
This is a new role and is an exciting opportunity to join an established and innovative team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and timely development and implementation of the Community Liver Health Pilot and provide project management support to the SW Peninsula Hepatitis C operational delivery network.
Please note, after the 12 month contract period there is the possibility that this role will become substantive.
Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS at Risk staff throughout Devon who is able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.

Main duties of the job
- The post holder will be responsible for the effective and timely development and implementation of the Community Liver Health Pilot and provide project management support to the SW Peninsula Hepatitis C operational delivery network
- The post holder will support the safety, quality and efficiency of clinical services and will support the planning and delivery of the service to achieve its operational performance standards and its financial obligations through effective leadership and service improvement.
- The post holder will support service developments.
- The post-holder will focus on managing service delivery and will demonstrate strong leadership skills when managing relationships across ODNs and with associated services in the community.
- On a day-to-day basis the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that services are delivered within available resources to specified volumes and quality standards. They will also be responsible for performance and financial management across the ODN ensuring that resources are used in the most efficient and effective manner.
