x 1 - 18.75 Hours per week (Permanent)
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, forward thinking Nurse to join our small, busy and friendly Gynaecology Outpatients Team at The James Cook University Hospital. Our service incorporates consultant and nurse lead sub-specialties, routine referrals, tertiary referrals, 2 week rule, and urgent acute gynaecology conditions, diagnostic and treatment services.
The service currently runs 5 days a week 8.30hrs - 18:00hrs with a 6 day working week being considered.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support all daily clinics including the daily Urgent Acute Gynae Clinic's. The RN will also take on additional duties and clinics in line with the requirements of the service including administering regular pessaries and medication injections.
Applicants need to demonstrate a genuine desire to work in this field, previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training and support will be given.
