Job summary
Here at MSE we have an exciting opening for a Senior Digital Infrastructure Engineer to be a part of the Digital Transformation Technical Team delivering high quality projects and reliable infrastructure across three acute sites and expanding into the wider local health economy.
At MSE we value the flexible working module therefore we allow our team to work from home when not required on site. However you may need to visit all 3 trusts sites and be part of an on call rota as and when required.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be able to specify, design, develop, implement and support technical solutions across the MSE trust. You will be liaising with and managing third party suppliers, short-term contractors and trust staff as well as project managers. You should have previous exposure to PRINCE 2 project management and have a strong understanding of ITIL service management methodologies.
Due to the nature of the position, you will be required to participate in an on call rota, some antisocial hours working for project go lives and occasional physical visits to sites in Essex.
You should live/stay within reasonable driving distance of the Trust's physical sites.
About us
Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is now one of the largest in the country, with a workforce of approximately 15,000 who serve a population of 1.2 million people.
We work together, and in conjunction with MSE Health and Care Partnership, to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients in a compassionate way, and provide a respectful, but vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
From facilities through to consultant specialists we want to be the best, to achieve this we need to recruit not just those who are the finest in their field but also those who have the potential to be. Yes, experience is important but so is outlook - if you are dynamic, forward-thinking and enthusiastic we want you to join us.
We not only offer you a good working environment with flexible working opportunities, but also the opportunity to develop your career with access to appropriate training for your job and the support to succeed and progress.
