An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Inpatients group for a for a hardworking and motivated individual with a 'can do' attitude to operationally lead the iHub based at Moseley Hall Hospital.

The integrated hub is a combination of the bed management team and discharge team and is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient access to pathway 2 inpatient beds, which supports system wide patient flow.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be a key member of the Inpatient team and will work closely with both internal and external colleagues to ensure safe and appropriate admissions and discharges are taking place in line with the Trust values.

The successful candidate will be a role model who inspires confidence and demonstrates excellent communication and problem solving skills. Your attention to detail is essential as is your ability to work in a fast paced, unpredictable, and often pressured environment where operational priorities can change at short notice.

This role does include some weekend working.
