We are pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity for a mental health nurse to join our provision within Derby Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service.

Derby Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service is a partnership service that provides an integrated health service for Derby City residents who identify a substance misuse related need.

Our approach embeds the notion of health, well-being and recovery.

The post holder will be part of Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust's Substance Misuse Team (Derby City) offering drug and alcohol interventions to service users who have an identified a drug and alcohol support need.

The post holder will work with service users who have a range of complex health issues alongside their substance misuse need the post holder will work in a trauma informed way.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will carry a case load, supporting service users with a drug and alcohol support need where complexity associated with mental and physical health is also a consideration.

Where required, the post holder will also liaise with other clinical settings to support an outreach approach.
