Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Band - 5
Trafford Psychological Therapies are a large Talking Therapies service for people experiencing common mental health disorders. We consist of Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Counsellors, Psychologists, and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and work in partnership with staff from Self Help Services in the delivery of E-Therapy and support groups.
Our service is committed to reducing the suffering caused to our population by anxiety and depression-related problems regardless of chronicity, severity of distress or functional limitation. Though the service is long established and valued, it has continually evolved. You will join us at a time when you can play a key role in consolidating our recently improved accessibility along with helping towards our prevalence targets and well-established recovery rates.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking to recruit a qualifiedPsychological Wellbeing Practitioner to a permanent contract. We want to recruit a person who has a commitment to low intensity interventions and is confident in their ability to contribute to the demonstrated effectiveness of our service.
You will be employed by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS FT. You will therefore benefit from being part of a professional organisational structure within a large Foundation Trust and part of a more local integrated network of mental health and wellbeing services.
The service is keen to offer flexible working opportunities whilst also providing access to the people of Trafford. Therefore, successful candidates to either full or part time positions will be required to work a minimum of one evening per week. We also offer a range of appointment options to the people of Trafford and therefore will be looking to appoint a candidate who is able to offer Remote, video and telephone appointments alongside Face-to-Face clinic appointments throughout the Trafford borough.
