An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as a key member of the Trust Head Office within the Corporate Governance Team working with the Company Secretary, which is right at the heart of the Trust's overall corporate governance. This role will provide professional and efficient secretariat support services to a number of the Committees of the Trust Board of Directors, ensuring the effective and efficient coordination of the flow of business.
Consideration will be given to part-time (not less than 30 hours) and full-time (37.5 hours) working per week.
The post allows remote working / working from home with a minimum requirement to be in the office 1-4 days a month
Main duties of the job
You will have proven significant experience of supporting and minuting senior level meetings and committees and demonstrate flexibility, confidentiality and professionalism. You will have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to plan ahead, document well and keep careful track of timelines and business cycles. The role requires the ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities as well as to be organised, logical, and to work under both your own initiative and as a team player.

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

- Interest in undertaking the ICSA Company Secretaries qualification.

- Previous experience in a corporate governance environment.
- Extensive administrative or management experience at a senior level.
- Experience of working with Senior Managers, Executives and Boards.
- High standard of computer skills including highly proficient use of Outlook and Word. Competence in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in report writing, presentation, influencing and persuasion, minute taking, developing action plans to cover a range of complex activities.

- Previous NHS or public sector experience.
